"CCHT" stands for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and "MFT" stands for Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My Bachelor and Master's degrees focused on psychology but my background also includes computer sciences (as a programmer, systems analyst, and online education specialist). Since the later 1990's I have also been facilitating personal growth and transformation intensives in the form of workshops and wilderness-based rites-of-passage.
I advocate - and strive to facilitate - integration of the varoius aspects of one's life for personal and interpersonal growth and healing: the emotional, mental, spiritual and physical. I help my clients to use their past experience, their creativity, and imagination to solve their problems and reach their goals.
I provide counseling and hypnotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups in the areas of habit change, pain and stress management, communication and relationships issues and personal development.
"Noam's sessions are powerful and provide guidance and leadership to instill growth in his clients’ life."

My approach is informed by an analytical background, clinical training, rich multi- cultural experience, and a deep sense of wonder. Clients have often cited integrity, warmth, humor, gentle yet rigorous practicality, and open-mindedness as ingredients I blend to create a safe environment to facilitate their healing.
My style of therapy is based on empowerment and a strong belief in people's ability to heal. My aim is to help my clients find, access, and use inner (and outer) resources to achieve a greater sense of wholeness and success.

I was raised in the U.S.A., Israel and Europe, and have also lived and studied in Asia. I speak several languages and am 'at home' in several cultural and spiritual traditions.
I have been providing counseling in
various settings since the early 1990's, am licensed as a Marriage and
Famiy Therapist since 1998, and certified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist
since 2003.
My experience includes:
• Therapy with individuals, groups and families in both rural Native American reservation and urban settings
• Wilderness-based workshops and retreats for personal transformation and healing
• Resdential and outpatient counseling for individuals with acute and chronic mental illness
• Counseling to support recovery from addictions for individuals and groups
• Hypnosis and self-hypnosis trainings to support healing or management of a wide range of emotional and physical conditions.
